Welcome to tonight's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's soccer match between the Hope College Flying Dutchmen and Kalamazoo College Hornets at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.
The Flying Dutchmen are coming off a 1-0 loss to visiting Albion on Saturday. Hope is now 5-12 on the season and 3-9 in MIAA play.
Kalamazoo looks to rebound from a 2-1 loss at Adrian on Saturday. The Hornets (6-5-4 overall) slipped into fifth place in the MIAA standings with a 6-4-2 league record. Kalamazoo trails third-place Alma by two points and fourth-place Adrian by one point with one week of play remaining. The top four teams advance to next week's MIAA Tournament.
This is the 93rd match all-time between Hope and Kalamazoo. The Flying Dutchmen lead the series 49-41-2. Kalamazoo has won the past six meetings, including a 3-1 victory on October 1 at Kalamazoo.

The Flying Dutchmen conclude the 2016 season with a Senior Day match on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Olivet at Van Andel Soccer Stadium. We will recognize seniors William Bennick, Thomas Conerty and Alex Lindsey during a pre-game ceremony.
