Christian Dault, Men's Soccer Top Kalamazoo In Double Overtime

Christian Dault saw the errant pass roll up field in overtime and took off on a long run for the Hope College men's soccer team.

The junior from Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS) got to the ball first, deked a defender and booted a left-handed blast underneath the Kalamazoo goalie for a 1-0, double-overtime victory on Wednesday at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.

Dault's third goal of the season ended the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener 1 minute, 16 seconds into the second 10-minute, sudden-victory overtime period.
