Men's Tennis Falls To 35th-Ranked Denison, Ohio

The Hope College men's tennis team played a nationally ranked opponent for the fourth time this season and lost to No. 35 Denison, Ohio 9-0 on Saturday at DeWitt Tennis Center.

The Flying Dutchmen pushed two singles matches to three sets.

Sophomore Mark VanderStoep of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) fell at No. 3 singles 3-6, 6-4, 10-5.

Freshman Alec Berrodin of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Northern) dropped a 6-2, 5-7, 10-8 match at No. 6 singles.

Hope (1-6 overall) returns to action on Saturday, March 28 with its first match during a spring break trip to Orlando, Florida.
