Men's Tennis Serves Up Spring Break Win Against Edgewood

The Hope College men's tennis team began its spring break play in Orlando with a 7-2 victory against Edgewood, Wisconsin on Saturday.

The Flying Dutchmen (2-6 overall) claimed wins at 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles and 2 and 3 doubles.

Two Hope players earned points in both singles and doubles play: sophomore Christian Rhoades of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles, and senior Sam Kreps of Holland, Michigan (Holland) at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles.

The Flying Dutchmen dropped Edgewood to 2-11 on the season.

Hope returns to action on Monday, March 20 with a 1 p.m. match against Carthage, Wisconsin at the United States Tennis Association Lane Nona Training Center in Orlando. | PO Box 9000, Holland, Michigan 49422
