Hope College sits in 21st place in the first update of the 2019-20 Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings for NCAA Division III.
The Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. Overall in Division III, you must count the following four sports – men's basketball and soccer, women's basketball and soccer – along with the next highest 14 (maximum) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender.
The first Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup update featured men's and women's cross country, women's field hockey and women's volleyball.
Hope totaled 111 points by reaching the regional final in women's volleyball and finishing 27th in women's cross country.
Results from Hope's NCAA Championship appearances in football and men's soccer will be included in the next update on Thursday, December 12.
