Volleyball Holds Steady at No. 7 in AVCA National Rankings

The Hope College volleyball team heads into postseason play ranked seventh in the American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll.

It is the third consecutive week the MIAA regular-season champion Flying Dutch have been ranked in the Top 10. Hope was also seventh last week.

The Flying Dutch have been ranked in the AVCA Top 25 all season.

East Texas Baptist University held the top spot with 82 of 85 possible first-place votes.

Hope (21-5 overall) returns to action on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. at home against Trine University in the MIAA Tournament semifinals at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The winner advances to the championship match on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. at Hope.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the MIAA website or at the door beginning on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m.

All three matches will be live-streamed on the MIAA Sports Network and Hope's Anchor Network on YouTube.
