ACHA Hockey Records Shutout During Two-Game Sweep Of Indiana Tech

Hope College's American Collegiate Hockey Association skated to a 7-2 win at Indiana Tech on Friday, then came home on Saturday for a shutout against Indiana Tech, 5-0.

The Flying Dutchmen led off Friday's game quick with a goal by forward Bradley Baysore before the two.minute mark. Noah Arent soon followed for a 2-0 lead.

Defensemen Jakub Myksa and forward Riley Draper both contributed goals for Hope, followed by forward Austen Peterson, forward Jake Faustyn, and Baysore.

Austin Kane, pictured, had 25 saves out of 27 shots on goal.

On Saturday, Kane stopped 27 shots for the Flying Dutchmen's second shutout of the season.

Forward Allan Hirsch scored twice. Forwards Riley Draper, Maxwell Mones, and Cole Stenstrom each added goals.

Hope will play again next Friday, at Oakland University and then back home on Saturday.
