ACHA Hockey Takes Two From Calvin

The Hope College American Collegiate Hockey Association team is now 13-2-1 on the season after beating rival Calvin College 10-2 on Friday on the road and 6-1 on Saturday at home.

Friday's 6-1 win was led by Austen Peterson, who contributed three goals for the flying dutch.

Cole DeVos and Brad Baysore both contributed two-goal games for Hope.

Austin Kane started in goal and made five saves. Lukas Schut relieved Kane and finished with 28 saves.

On Saturday, forwards Peter Stewart, Peterson, and Baysore scored first for Hope, Peterson added one more.

The Flying Dutchmen ended the game with goals by Max Mones and Riley Draper.

Kane totaled 22 saves.

Hope will compete again on Friday, December 7 at home against Adrian.
