The Hope College baseball team will open MIAA Tournament play on Wednesday, May 7, at 4 p.m. at Calvin College.
The double-elimination tournament then will move to top-seeded Adrian College's Nicolay Field for games on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9.
Hope (21-19 overall) is seeded third. Calvin (26-14) holds the second seed, while Kalamazoo College (17-23) is seeded fourth. Kalamazoo plays Adrian (27-13) in first-round action at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The Hope-Calvin winner will face the Adrian-Kalamazoo winner Thursday at noon. Wednesday's losers will play an elimination game Thursday at 3 p.m.
A second elimination game is set for 6 p.m. Thursday.
The championship round starts at noon on Friday. A second game, if necessary, is at 3 p.m.
Daily tournament admission is $7 for adults and $5 for non-MIAA students and all MIAA faculty and staff with ID. MIAA students get in free with ID.
The MIAA Tournament champion receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
