The Hope College baseball team hosts Calvin College in its 2018 home opener at Boeve Stadium on Saturday. First pitch for the doubleheader is 1 p.m.
It is also the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener for the Flying Dutchmen.
Hope and Calvin have been playing baseball against each other since 1925 and regularly since 1948. The Flying Dutchmen lead the all-time series 116-68.
Both teams enter with 2-8 overall records.
There will be live video available for Game 1 only.
