Dan Margritz joined the Hope College football staff prior to the 2016 season as an assistant coach. He works with the linebackers.
Margritz also is the strength and conditioning coordinator for the entire athletic program at Hope.
Margritz came to Hope after spending the past 1 ½ years as the head strength and conditioning coach for football, soccer, basketball and lacrosse at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. He also was the assistant head coach, defensive coordinator, running backs coach and strength coach for the Macon Road Baptist varsity football team during that time. Macon Road was state runner-up twice during his tenure.
Margritz played football at Concordia University in Nebraska before graduating in May 2012 with a bachelor’s in fitness studies. He lined up as a running back and slot receiver at Concordia. He also served as an intern strength and conditioning coach at Concordia his senior year.
