Hope and Calvin men's basketball legends pose together for a picture at halfcourt by Alan Babbitt

The 200th men's basketball game in The Rivalry between Hope College and Calvin College drew a sold-out DeVos Fieldhouse crowd of 3,575 and thousands of viewers across the globe.

Like many dramatic games before them over the past 99 years, the Flying Dutchmen and Knights battled down to the final seconds before Calvin held on for an 82-80 victory. Hope maintains a 103-97 lead in the series that is separated by only 100 points after 200 games.

During halftime, Hope and Calvin recognized the top basketball players from The Rivalry, as chosen by Hope sports information director Alan Babbitt and Calvin sports information Jeff Febus. Read more about each honoree in the commermorative game program.
