The Hope College men's basketball team will play in the 24th annual Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Classic this Thanksgiving weekend.
The two-day tournament sponsored by the Lighthouse Group is hosted by Cornerstone University at Mol Arena this year. The Flying Dutchmen (3-0 overall) will face Cornerstone (7-2) on Friday, November 29 at 8 p.m. and Aquinas College (1-7) on Saturday, November 30 at 6 p.m.
Tickets at $10 and $6 for those age 16-and-under will be available at the door. Advance tickets are available via Eventbrite by clicking on the tournament poster at grshof.com.
Hope is seeking its fourth Hall of Fame Classic title. The Flying Dutchmen previously won the tournament in 2011, 2005 and 2000.
All-time, Hope's Hall of Fame Classic record is 24-18.
The Flying Dutchmen are 20-16 against Cornerstone since the teams' first meeting in 1987.
Hope is 53-30 against Aquinas since the teams' first game in 1962.
