The Flying Dutchmen scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory at Ohio Northern on Friday on a counterattack similar to the one that produced the winning overtime tally against Richard Stockton (N.J.) last week.

Junior Logan Bylsma of Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville HS), pictured, delivered again off the feed from teammates Isaac Braak of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven) and James Reymann of Columbus, Ohio (Worthington Kilbourne).

Bylsma's third goal of the season came with 6 minutes, 58 seconds remaining in regulation against Ohio Northern.

"They were in our end. It was a counterattack," head coach Dave Brandt said. "Isaac made a great outlet and played it right to James through the right flank. He squared the ball across to Logan and Logan finished."

Bylsma has scored in each match this season for Hope (3-0 overall).

The Flying Dutchmen overcame being outshot by a slim 16-14 margin, including a 7-4 deficit in shots on goal.

Junior goalie Blair McCormick of Wadsworth, Illinois (Warren Township) recorded his second shutout with four saves.

The Flying Dutchmen conclude their trip to Ada, Ohio, on Saturday with a 5 p.m. match against Millikin (Illinois).
