Diver Grant Williams established three Hope College records on Saturday during the Flying Dutchmen's 136-53 win against Alma College at Kresge Natatorium.
The sophomore from Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS) topped previous six-dive bests for a dual meet in school and pool history while winning both events.
In 3-meter diving, Williams, pictured, scored 324.0 points to pass Jim Mitchell's 1990 school record of 312.0. Williams finished within 2.60 points of equaling the pool record set by a Kalamazoo College diver.
In 1-meter diving, Williams totaled 310.60 points to top Jean Luc Miralda's 2016 school and pool records of 308.5.
Hope recorded nine first-place performances during Senior Day, including both relays.
Junior Daniel Clyde of Ann Arbor, Michigan (Huron) won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.30 seconds and the 200 breaststroke in 2:13.63.
Junior Seth Costello of Williamston, Michigan (Williamston) clocked a winning 200 backstroke time of 2:07.19.
Sophomore Daniel Keith of Saline, Michigan (Saline) took first in the 200 individual medley with a swim fo 1:56.74.
Freshman Andrew Dwan of Bay City, Michigan (John Glenn) posted a first-place 200 freestyle of 1:51.53.
Freshman Nick Weigle of Grandville, Michigan (Grandville) won the 100 freestyle in 50.59.
Hope's next meet is Saturday, February 9 against Calvin College at Holland Community Aquatic Center.
