Men's Tennis Wraps Up Regular-Season With Senior Day Win Vs. Alma

The Hope College men's tennis team will get some hard-earned time off before postseason play after a 9-0 victory against visiting Alma College on Monday at Etheridge Tennis Complex.

On Senior Day, the Flying Dutch concluded their regular-season schedule with an 11-9 overall record and a second-place, 6-1 mark in MIAA matches.

Hope will be the No. 2 seed for next week's MIAA Tournament.

The Flying Dutchmen will host either Adrian College, Calvin College or Trine University in the semifinals on Thursday, May 2.

During Monday's match, Hope honored five seniors: Justin Folkert of Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton HS), Michael Kiley of Muskegon, Michigan (Mona Shores), Christian Rhoades of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian), Tim Roe of Bakersfield, California (Frontier) and Mark VanderStoep of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa).
