Josh Izenbart and Nathan Woolum Lead Men's Indoor Track and Field at GVSU Holiday Open

Josh Izenbart and Nathan Woolum recorded the top performances for the Hope College men's indoor track and field team on Friday at the Grand Valley State University Holiday Open.

The first indoor of the season for the Flying Dutchmen featured competitors from all three NCAA divisions and NAIA.

Izenbart placed 17th in the 60-meter hurdles. The senior from Glenwood, Illinois (Homewood-Flossmoor HS) clocked a time of 9.20 seconds.

Woolum finished 17th in the 400 meters. The freshman from Mattawan, Michigan (Mattawan) posted a time of 51.49 seconds.

Woolum came in 27th in the 800 at 2:09.77. Sophomore Caden Collins of Fowlerville, Michigan (Fowlerville) was 29th at 2:10.79.

In the 200 meters, sophomore Drew Dow of Bridgman, Michigan (Bridgman) took 30th with a time of 23.87.

Hope's next meet is Friday, January 17 at GVSU's Bill Clinger Classic.
