Men’s Cross Country Claims 29th USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award

The Hope College men's cross country team has received All-Academic Team honors in NCAA Division III from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. There were 172 men's honorees in Division III.

Led by head coach Mark Northuis, the Flying Dutchmen recorded a team grade point average of 3.43.

This fall, Hope placed 15th at the Division III Great Lakes Regional and tied for third at the MIAA Championships.

This is the 29th time in 30 years the Flying Dutchmen have achieved this distinction.

Sophomore Nick Hoffman of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual honors.
