Jeanette Olinger is in her sixth season as a member of the Hope College Softball coaching staff.
Olinger has 16 years of coaching experience. Olinger has coached 12 years of independent youth softball instruction teaching pitching and hitting. She has coached nine years of competitive travel softball; three years with Lakeshore Storm in Holland, Michigan, and six previously in Utah. She also has 5 years of high school coaching experience; 1 year at Grandville High School, 1 year at Kenowa Hills High School, and 3 years at Clearfield High School in Utah.
A former pitcher and utility player, Olinger played her college career at the University of Utah. She received her degree from Weber State University in 2003 with a B.S. in Business Administration (emphasis in Human Resources) and a minor in Psychology.
Originally from West Valley City, Utah, Olinger worked for Ralcorp Frozen Bakery Products as a Human Resources/Safety Manager for 10 years prior to coming to Hope. She is married to Ken Olinger, and they have two daughters, Teagan and Rylie.
