Why did you choose to attend Hope College? The friendly atmosphere of the students, faculty, and community members that creates a welcoming environment to learn and grow as an athlete and a student.

If you have chosen a major, please explain how you plan to use it after graduation. I am undecided as to which field of engineering I would pursue, but I hope to explore the different options during college.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27, I like this verse because it talks about the determination and hard work you need to have in order to succeed in your athletics. I feel that this verse really reflects who I am because of all the effort I have put in to becoming a college athlete.

What is your favorite memory from a community service project you’ve been involved at Hope? I helped out at individual skills camp for the Hope Basketball team this summer and it was a great opportunity to spread my love for basketball to younger generations while also helping them to improve on their own game.

Where is your favorite place on campus? Why? The Devos Fieldhouse may be my favorite place on campus because it provides a stress free environment where I can just play basketball and forget about everything else that's going on in my life. It also is a beautiful facility and I love playing in the air conditioned gym.

What is your favorite pre-game music? Anything by Drake.

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be and why? I would love to play hockey because I think it's a really physical and aggressive game and I could push people around. They also travel a lot so I would think that would be cool.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Work hard, stay humble.
