Women's Golf Places Fourth At Second MIAA Jamboree

The Hope College women's golf team shot a fourth-place total of 346 at Lenawee Country Club in Adrian during the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree of the fall.

The Flying Dutch are now in third place after 36 holes with a team score of 680. 

MIAA Standings

Junior Jordyn Rioux of Farmington, Michigan (Livonia Ladywood HS) and sophomore Lexi Miller of Bremen, Indiana (Bremen), pictured, led Hope with 14-over-par rounds of 86. They tied for 11th place in the individual standings.

Two of their teammates finished one stroke back and tied for 15th: junior Abigail Meder of Lansing, Michigan (Lansing Catholic Central) and sophomore Megan Jenkinson of Traverse City, Michigan (T.C. West).

Freshman Grace VanDellen of Oxford, Michigan (Lutheran Northwest) chipped in an 88.

Saint Mary's won the tournament with a 326.
