Hope Women's Lacrosse Falls In Season Opener At Otterbein, Ohio

Senior Molly Greenfield of Georgetown, Texas (Georgetown HS), scored three goals to lead the Hope College women's lacrosse team in a 14-6 loss at Otterbein, Ohio, on Friday.

The Flying Dutch dropped their season opener and the debut for first-year coach Kim Vincent.

Junior Abigale Cassella of Okemos, Michigan (Okemos HS), added two goals for Hope.

Freshman Erin Caton of Rochester Hills, Michigan (Pontiac Notre Dame Prep), also scored for the Flying Dutch.

Freshman goalie Michaela Biegner of Hillsdale, Michigan (Hillsdale HS), totaled five saves. 

Hope returns to action on March 16 when the Flying Dutch play Eastern Connecticut State in Clermont, Florida.
