Hope Women's Lacrosse Loses To Eastern Connecticut State

Sophomore Alexandra Webb of Woodland Hills, California (Calabasas HS), and freshman Dana Kym of Libertyville, Illinois (Libertyville HS), scored two goals apiece to top the Hope College women's lacrosse team in a 17-8 loss to Eastern Connecticut State on Monday in Clermont, Florida.

The Flying Dutch dropped to 0-2 on the season.

Hope also received single goals from four different players: senior Makenzie Bortell of Montague, Michigan (Montague HS), junior Abigale Cassella of Okemos, Michigan (Okemos HS), senior Molly Greenfield of Georgetown, Texas (Georgetown HS), and sophomore Chandler Warren of Grosse Pointe Farms (University Liggett HS).

Freshman Michaela Biegner of Hillsdale, Michigan (Hillsdale HS), made 10 saves in goal for the Flying Dutch.

Hope returns to action on Tuesday at 11 a.m. when the Flying Dutch face Worcester State in Clearwater, Florida.
