Dana Kym's Five Goals Lifts Hope Women's Lacrosse Past Adrian

Sophomore Dana Kym of Libertyville, Illinois (Libertyville HS), scored five times to boost the Hope College women's lacrosse team to a 12-5 win at defending MIAA champion Adrian on Tuesday.

The Flying Dutch raised their record to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in MIAA play.

Hope never trailed after scoring the game's first three goals and leading 5-1 at halftime.

Senior Molly Greenfield of Georgetown, Texas (Georgetown HS), added three goals for the Flying Dutch against Adrian (0-7, 0-3 MIAA).

Freshman Emily Deane of Rochester Hills, Michigan (Rochester Adams HS), chipped in two goals for Hope.

Freshman goalie Michaela Biegner of Hillsdale, Michigan (Hillsdale HS), made 11 saves for the Flying Dutch.

Hope returns to action on Saturday when the Flying Dutch host Kalamazoo for a 4 p.m. match at Van Andel Stadium.
