Hope Women's Lacrosse Falls To 2015 NWLL Runner-Up Davenport

Four different players scored for the Hope College women's lacrosse team in a 17-4 loss to National Women's Lacrosse League power Davenport on Friday at Van Andel Stadium.

The 2015 NWLL runner-up spoiled the Flying Dutch's home opener despite goals from senior Abigale Cassella of Okemos, Michigan (Okemos HS), junior Dana Kym of Libertyville, Illinois (Libertyville HS), sophomore Grace Ahlgrim of Libertyville, Illinois (Libertyville HS), and sophomore Emily Deane of Rochester Hills, Michigan (Rochester Adams HS).

Hope dropped to 1-1 on the season. 

The Flying Dutch return to action on Saturday, March 19 with a 2 p.m. Pacific match vs. George Fox, Oregon in Santa Barbara, California.
