Alexandra Webb set a single-game assist record for the Hope College women's lacrosse team during an 18-1 win at Trine on Wednesday.
The junior from Woodland Hills, California (Calabasas HS) collected six assists and two goals for the Flying Dutch, who won their fourth match in a row.
Hope (5-3 overall) remained one of two teams unbeaten in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play. The Flying Dutch are 4-0 in league matches. Albion (6-6, 5-0 MIAA) is the other.
Webb topped the previous school record of four assists by Maddie Ferguson in 2013 against Siena Heights.
Webb set up sophomore Emily Deane of Rochester Hills, Michigan (Rochester Adams HS) for three of her game-high four goals during the first half as the Flying Dutch jumped to an 8-1 halftime lead.
Sophomore Grace Ahlgrim of Libertyville, Illinois (Libertyville HS) chipped in three goals for Hope.
The Flying Dutch received two goals apiece from junior Reinie Thomas of Portage, Michigan (Portage Central HS), freshman Allison Darnell of Farmington Hills, Michigan (North Farmington HS), and freshman Madeline Shupe of Hinsdale, Illinois (Hinsdale Central HS).
Goalie Alexandria Watts of Union, Michigan (Edwardsburg HS) made seven saves.
Hope returns to action on Saturday, April 23 with a noon Senior Day match against Olivet at Van Andel Stadium.
