Hope Women's Lacrosse Falls At Albion

The Hope College women's lacrosse team dropped a matchup of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's first-place teams 16-8 at Albion on Tuesday.

Three Flying Dutch recorded multi-goal games, including junior Alexandra Webb of Woodland Hills, California (Calabasas HS) who collected two goals and one assist.

Sophomore Emily Deane of Rochester, Michigan (Rochester Adams HS) and freshman Allison Darnell of Farmington Hills, Michigan (North Farmington HS) each chipped in two goals apiece.

Albion took control by grabbing a 9-3 halftime lead.

The loss ended a five-match win streak for Hope (6-4 overall, 5-1 MIAA).

The Flying Dutch are now tied for second place in the MIAA with Calvin. 

Hope hosts Calvin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Van Andel Stadium.
