Dana Kym's Six Goals Fuels Women's Lacrosse Past Colorado Springs

Dana Kym's go-ahead goal capped a career night for her and a successful start out west for the Hope College women's lacrosse team.

The senior from Libertyville, Illinois (Libertyville HS) propelled the Flying Dutch to a 10-9 win at NCAA Division II University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Monday.

Kym scored her final and career-best sixth goal with 4 ½ minutes remaining to snap a 9-9 tie.

Kym scored produced three goals over the final 8 ½ minutes for Hope, which evened its overall record at 2-2.

Kym now leads the Flying Dutch with 13 goals this season.

Senior Alexandra Webb of Woodland Hills, California (Calabasas) chipped in one goal and two assists for Hope.

The Flying Dutch's next match is Wednesday, March 22 vs. Chapman, California at Colorado College.
