The Hope College women's lacrosse team is making its first appearance in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament championship match on Saturday in Grand Rapids.
The Flying Dutch will play at top-seeded Calvin for a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Start time is 4 p.m.
Coach Kim Vincent's Flying Dutch (9-6 overall) are seeded third after posting a 5-2 league record. They defeated Saint Mary's 12-11 in Wednesday's semifinals.
Hope's nine wins are the Flying Dutch's most since they became a varsity program in 2013.
