Madison Micho recorded a near- school record four assists for the Hope College women's lacrosse team during a 14-10 loss to Virginia Wesleyan University on Monday in Hilton Head, S.C.
The sophomore from Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS) tied for the second-highest number of assists in a Flying Dutch game.
Micho, pictured, matched Alexandra Webb's 2017 effort vs. Saint Mary's College, Erin Caton's 2017 total vs. Olivet College and Maddie Ferguson's 2013 output vs. Siena Heights. The school record of six was set by Webb vs. Trine in 2016.
Micho also scored one goal.
Three of Micho's assists came during the second half when Hope played even with Virginia Wesleyan (4-3 overall) with five goals apiece.
Senior Allison Darnell of Farmington Hills, Michigan (North Farmington) scored three times to top the Flying Dutch.
Sophomore Paige Wilmer of Columbus, Ohio (Upper Arlington) chipped in two goals and one assists.
Freshman Madison McCreery of Rockford, Michigan (Rockford) added two goals.
Hope's next game is Wednesday, March 20 vs. Allegheny College (Pennsylvania) at 9 a.m. in Hilton Head, S.C.
