Women's Soccer Climbs To 15th In United Soccer Coaches National Rankings

he Hope College women's soccer team rose to 15th in this week's United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III poll.

The Leigh Sears-coached Flying Dutch were the second-highest mover in the Top 25 after being unranked in the preseason poll.

Hope is off to a 3-0 start to the season, including wins over two nationally ranked teams: Illinois Wesleyan University and Ohio Northern.

The Flying Dutch play at third-ranked University of Chicago on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Central.

Hope is one of 10 teams who moved into the Top 25. Only No. 14 State University of New York at Plattsburgh was higher.
