Hope College midfielder Rylie Dalton and defender Kristen Marsman have been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Players of the Week.

Dalton, pictured left, is the MIAA's Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Marsman, pictured right, is the MIAA's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career and the first time this season.

Dalton recorded three goals and one assist over two games to lead the Flying Dutch in victories against Albion College at home and at Saint Mary's College.

The senior from Rockford, Michigan (Rockford HS) had both game-winning goals, including one against Albion with 2 ½ minutes remaining in double overtime of a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. She scored the first two goals in a 5-0 victory at Saint Mary's on Saturday.

Dalton has scored in three consecutive games and leads the Flying Dutch this season with seven goals.

Marsman helped Hope up its shutout total to 10 for the season and six in MIAA play.

The senior from Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) contributed to an effort that allowed the Flying Dutch to only need to make one save the entire week — a total of 197 minutes, 36 seconds of play.

Marsman previously was named MIAA Defender of the Week during her junior season.
