The 22nd-ranked Hope College women's tennis team is set for a first-place showdown after winning 9-0 at Alma on Wednesday.
The Flying Dutch (13-4 overall) will play at MIAA co-leader Kalamazoo on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both teams are 3-0 in league play.
Senior Carli Capestany of Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville HS), junior Marie Holaway of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS), and freshman Amanda Susnak of Lowell, Michigan (Lowell HS), all won singles and doubles matches for Hope.
The Flying Dutch have not dropped a match to a MIAA opponent this season over a span of three matches.
Hope is 38-1 all-time against Alma.
