Hope College's Amanda Bandrowski has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
The junior from Traverse City, Michigan (T.C. St. Francis HS) is receiving the honor for the second time this season and the fourth time in her career.
Bandrowski posted a 4-0 record last week to help the 33rd-ranked Flying Dutch win two postseason matches and capture the MIAA Tournament title for a league-record eighth consecutive season.
During Friday's championship match against Kalamazoo, Bandrowski won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and 8-2 at No. 2 doubles with partner Claire Hallock.
During Wednesday's semifinal win vs. Calvin, Bandrowski won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and 8-2 at No. 1 doubles.
