Why did you choose to attend Hope College? Hope has a strong a reputable Nursing program as well as a vibrant Christian community that I am excited to be a part of!

If you have chosen a major, please explain how you plan to use it after graduation. I could use my Nursing degree to work in a hospital as a Nurse, or, with additional pre-requisites, go onto graduate school to become a Physical Therapist or Nurse Practitioner.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor for forsake you." -Deuteronomy 31:6. I remember this verse when I get stressed or things in my life are uncertain. It reminds me that no matter how afraid I may feel, Jesus has never left my side and I know that he never will. He gives me strength and courage to keep pushing on.

What is your favorite pre-game music? "Holy Ground" by Taylor Swift.

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be and why? Gymnastics because it combines strength and grace.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? My grandpa told me to "always give an honest days work". That simple phrase reminds me to always give my best effort in everything I do. I know that my grandpa and my family believes, and so expects (but not forcefully), that I can do anything I put my mind to.
