Track and Field's Anna Frazee and Ana Tucker Qualify for NCAA Indoor Championships

Two members of the Hope College women's track and field team have qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.

Anna Frazee and Ana Tucker are among 20 runners who will compete at nationals in the 3,000 meters.

The NCAA Championships are scheduled for Friday-Saturday, March 13-14 at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Tucker is seeded ninth. The freshman from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS) qualified after recording a meet-record time of 9 minutes, 54.64 seconds at the Wartburg University (Iowa) qualifier on Saturday.

Frazee is seeded 19th. The senior from Watervliet, Michigan (Watervliet) clocked her qualifying time of 10:00.45 at Wartburg.

Tucker and Frazee join 3,000-meter runner Erin Herrmann as Hope's qualifiers for indoor nationals.

Herrmann finished ninth in the event as a senior in 2017 and 12th as a junior in 2016.
