Outside hitter Haley Muller represented the Hope College volleyball team on this weekend's all-tournament team at the Washington-St. Louis Bear Invitational.
The 15th-ranked Flying Dutch lost two matches to nationally ranked opponents during the tournament's final day on Saturday.
Hope (2-2 overall) was edged by No. 20 Hendrix, Arkansas 25-20, 21-25, 12-25, 25-22, 17-15, then fell to No. 3 Washington-St. Louis 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.
Muller, pictured, collected 13 kills against Hendrix and nine vs. Washington-St. Louis. The senior from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian), also was credited with 19 digs against Hendrix.
Hendrix scored three of the final four points of the fifth set to top the Flying Dutch.
Senior middle hitter Paige Baker of Encinitas, California (La Costa Canyon) recorded a career-high 20 kills vs. Hendrix.
Junior outside hitter Katie Rietberg of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa) totaled 16 kills against Hendrix and a team-high 10 vs. Washington-St. Louis.
