Carrie Lehocky joined the Hope College volleyball staff prior to the 2018 season. She is in her ninth year of coaching, including seven years with the Impact Dynamic Volleyball club, six years at Byron Center High School and one year apiece at Grand Haven and West Ottawa high schools.  Her coaching resume includes a year at both Grand Haven High School and West Ottawa High School and 6 years at Byron Center High School.  She also coached two years of freshmen girls basketball at Byron Center.

Lehocky is a middle school physical wellness instructor for West Ottawa Public Schools. She graduated from Hope College in 2007 with a B.A. in Physical Education and a Health Education minor During her Hope volleyball playing career, she was a defensive specialist who was a member of the 2009 national semifinalist team.

"Carrie has been an incredible addition to our staff, and I am honored to have her back serving our program," head coach Becky Schmidt said. "Her respect for the game and drive to help our student-athletes get the most they can from their experience makes her an asset to our team."
When Lehocky isn’t coaching or teaching, she can be found exploring the outdoors. She enjoys hiking and camping with her dog, as well as working her landscaping job in the summer.
