Why did you choose to attend Hope College? It felt like home. It was clear that people wanted me and saw value in growing and building upon the person I already was. That's not as common of a trait as many people believe it to be.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you: 2 Corinthians 12:9 " I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me." It feels like time and time again, I am humbled by the Lord. To be honest, it frustrates me many times because I do not have the strength or power to control my life the way I wish I could. But Christ reminds me that my shortcomings are not something to be mourned, but an asset in which his glory shines through. It is our privilege to have Christ's power surge through us in a way more glorious than we can possibly imagine.

What is your favorite pre-game music? Phoenix by Fall Out Boy.

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be? I suppose volleyball or ultimate frisbee. I love being able to work together and see points mount mainly because it is an almost instant gratification. My hand-eye coordination is not quite up to par in those areas, though.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? "If you tried your very best, there is nothing more you can do." ~Heather Duran "Leave everything on the course, and hold nothing back." ~Every Teammate Ever
