Why did you choose Hope College? I chose Hope for its strong science programs, access to a faith-based education and community, and the opportunity to continue running competitively.

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? And why? A bagel with peanut butter, a banana, and coffee- if it ain't broke don't fix it.

What is your favorite movie and why? Dead Poet's Society- it's inspiring as heck.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Write down three things you're thankful for everyday.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. John 4:35 - Jesus says: "You know the saying, 'Four months between planting and harvest.' But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest." This verse always convicts me of how urgent the gospel is. There's no reason for us to wait to do God's work, there's plenty of work to be done right where we are!

Please list any service opportunities you plan to be engaged with this year: Both on campus and off campus. (i.e. Mortar Board, CASA, Dance Marathon, Boys & Girls Club). I'll be continuing to volunteer at Holland Hospital and hopefully get involved in some outreach through WiSE.
