GET TO KNOW

Why did you choose Hope College? Staff and students really create a friendly and supportive atmosphere. It's also obvious that the other athletes have a real passion for their sport!

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? And why? Toast with peanut butter and banana. It is filling but it doesn't feel like it is weighing me down during a race!

What is your favorite movie and why? The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. There are so many strong characters and the plot is very inspirational.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Enjoy the present and don't stress as much about the future.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. Deuteronomy 31:6. It inspires me to be stronger when faced with tough obstacles.

Please list any service opportunities you plan to be engaged with this year: Both on campus and off campus. (i.e. Mortar Board, CASA, Dance Marathon, Boys & Girls Club). I plan on getting involved during Hope's Days of Service.
