Four second-period goals lifted the Hope College ice hockey team to a 5-2 win against Northwood in the Schupan Tournament finale on Saturday in Midland, Michigan.

Senior Caleb Morgan of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central HS), scored twice in a six-minute span early in the second period to snap a 1-1 tie.

Junior Zach Schaap of Holland, Michigan (Grand Rapids Catholic Central HS), and senior Drew O'Brien of East Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS), chipped in second-period goals.

O'Brien leads the Flying Dutchmen (5-0 overall) with five goals.

Senior Rob Calvert of Ada, Michigan (Grand Rapids Forest Hills Eastern HS), scored in the first period for Hope.

Junior goalie Alex Caradonna of Rochester Hills, Michigan (Birmingham Brother Rice HS), collected 23 saves for the Flying Dutchmen. Caradonna is pictured.
