Two third-period goals lifted the Hope College ice hockey team to a 3-1 win against Adrian College's Gold Team on Friday at Edge Ice Arena.
Senior defenseman Eric Webb of Portage, Michigan (Kalamazoo Christian HS), and junior forward Ryan Restum of East Lansing, Michigan (Okemos HS), both scored during the third period for Hope.
Senior forward Drew O'Brien of East Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS), gave the Flying Dutchmen a 1-0 lead during the first period.
Junior Goalie Eric Lipon of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS), made 30 saves for Hope.
It was the first time the two teams had met since last season's American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 3 national title game that Adrian won 1-0.
