Senior forward Hannah Doell of Center Valley, Pennsylvania (Southern Lehigh HS), scored a team-high 14 points for the Hope College women's basketball team in an 82-75 home loss to Wheaton (Illinois) on Tuesday.

The matchup of nationally ranked teams saw Hope suffer just its fourth loss in 142 games at DeVos Fieldhouse. The Flying Dutch's home win streak was snapped at 37 games.

No. 4 Hope is now 3-1 overall on the season.

All five Flying Dutch starters scored in double figures against No. 15 Wheaton.

Junior forward Maura McAfee of Midland, Michigan (Midland HS), recorded her third double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds. 

Senior center Rebekah Llorens of Grayslake, Illinois (Grayslake Central HS), and junior guard Autumn Anderson of Wayland, Michigan (Wayland HS), also scored 12 points.

Senior guard Brittany Berry of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Catholic Central HS), chipped in 12 points.
