Four Flying Dutchmen Skate Away With All-Conference Honors

Four Hope College hockey players have received all-conference recognition from the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference.

Seniors Drew Cook, Caleb Digison and Justin Glick all made the MCHC Dream Team for the West and East Divisions and the West Division First Team.

Junior Drew O'Brien made the West Division Second Team.

Hope takes a 22-3-2-1 record into the American Collegiate Hockey Conference Playoffs on Friday. The Flying Dutchmen skate against Michigan State at Southside Ice Arena in Byron Center at 4:30 p.m.

Cook, a goalie from Columbus, Ohio (Upper Arlington HS), posted a 19-3-2-0 record for Hope, which finished second in the West Division. He had a 2.06 goals against average and a 92.2 save percentage. 

Digison, a defenseman from Midland (Midland HS), led the Flying Dutchmen with 28 assists. He also scored six goals.

Glick, a forward from Fort Wayne, Ind. (Blackhawk Christian HS), topped Hope with 20 goals, four of which were game-winners. He also collected 19 assists.

O'Brien, a forward from East Grand Rapids (East Grand Rapids HS), netted 17 goals and had 13 assists for the Flying Dutchmen.
