Defenseman Caleb Digison of the Hope College ice hockey team has been selected a First Team Division 3 All-American by the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
The senior defenseman from Midland (Midland HS) is one of two defensemen on the First Team and one of six players overall on the First Team.

Digison helped the Flying Dutchmen finish the 2013-14 as national runner-up and record a 28-6-2-1 record. He totaled 42 points — the third-highest total on the team — while scoring nine goals and collecting a team-high 33 assists.
Digison recorded a plus-minus rating this season of plus-33 that topped the Flying Dutchmen.
Digison concluded his Hope career ranked third all-time with 141 games played, fourth with a plus-minus rating of 112 and seventh with 98 assists.
Digison also was chosen a First Team North Regional selection along with senior goalie Drew Cook of Columbus, Ohio (Upper Arlington HS). Senior forward Justin Glick of Fort Wayne, Ind. (Blackhawk Christian HS) was a Second Team All-Region pick.
Digison and Glick also received ACHA Academic All-America honors along with teammates Andrew Dolehanty, Jamie Haak, Drew O'Brien, Joe Pappas, Kaleb Skinner and Eric Webb.
