Two goals from freshman forward Austen Peterson of Highlands Ranch, Colorado (Rock Canyon HS) and three assists from senior forward Ryan Restum of East Lansing, Michigan (Okemos HS) lifted the Hope College ice hockey team to a 5-2 win against Indiana Tech on Friday at Edge Ice Arena.

The Flying Dutchmen never trailed as they improved their record to 12-3-2-1 overall.

Hope also received goals from  junior defenseman Elliott Digison of Midland, Michigan (Midland HS), sophomore forward Evan Fall of Royal Oak, Michigan (Royal Oak HS) and sophomore Jay Nieuwenhuis of Mystic, Connecticut (Stonington HS).

Sophomore goalie Ryan Baron of Northville, Michigan (Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard HS) made 15 saves for the Flying Dutchmen.

Hope returns to action on Friday and Saturday, January 15-16, 2016 with a home-and-home series against Grand Valley State University.
