The 14th-ranked Hope College women's cross country team posted a 15th place finish in the Blue Division and a third-place finish in the Silver Division at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday morning.Â
In the Blue Division, the Flying Dutch competed against 31 teams with a pack of 383 runners at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.Â
Fifth-year Rebecca Markham (Hoffman Estates, Illinois / William Fremd HS) crossed the line first for Hope with a time of 18:28.3 to finish in the top 25.Â
Five other Flying Dutch recorded sub-20-minute finishes.Â
Junior Maddy Struck (Hainesville, Illinois / Grayslake Central) clocked a time of 18:49.8.Â
Senior Olivia Quillan (Grandville, Michigan / Calvin Christian) posted a run of 19:35.1.Â
Junior Janie DeGroot (Northville, Michigan / Northville) went 19:48.5.Â
Sophomore Molly Durow (Glenview, Illinois / Glenbrook South) recorded a time of 19:49.3.Â
Senior Libby Gorman (Traverse City, Michigan / St. Francis) crossed the line at 19:51.2.Â
Sophomore Madison Stern (Saline, Michigan / Saline) clocked in at 20:27.2.Â
The Silver division team earned a 3rd place finish among 57 other teams.Â
Freshman Paige King (Glenbard, Illinois / Glenbard West)Â finished at 19:46.3 racing in the pack of 400 runners.Â
Freshman Mary England (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Central) recorded a time of 19:52.4.Â
Sophomore Anna Duesenberg (Rocky River, Ohio / Glenbrook South) finished at 19:59.9.Â
Junior Madeline Kenney (Livonia, Michigan / Mercy) went 20:06.4.Â
Junior Kennedy Kuhlmann (Grand Blanc, Michigan / Grand Blanc) raced to a time of 20:08.2.Â
