2024 HOPEYs Nominees: Women's Exceptional Team Performance

Note: The annual HOPEYs celebration of Hope College Athletics will be held on Monday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse. The event is open to the public. Admission is free.

The Exceptional Team Performance Award is presented to the women's team that played the most impressive game or had the most significant win in a given year.

2023 Women's Tennis vs Kalamazoo MIAA Tournament Title

The women's tennis team has avenged its regular season loss and extended its league-record streak of MIAA Women's Tennis Tournament titles with a 5-3 win over Kalamazoo College on Friday. The Flying Dutch have now won 11 consecutive MIAA Tournament titles. 

2023 Women's Cross Country MIAA Championship

The 18th-ranked Flying Dutch claimed their eighth consecutive league title on Saturday at Three Fires Golf Club in Holland after equaling Calvin University's total of 33 points. Molly Durow passed the Calvin fifth runner in the last 100m of the 6k race to secure the championship. 

2024 Womens Swim and Dive MIAA Championships

The 12th-ranked Flying Dutch capped a dominating effort by winning their fourth consecutive MIAA championship by totaling 1,275 points over four days at the Holland Aquatic Center. Greta Gidley and Abby Koops were named as the meet's top performers.

2023 Volleyball

The Flying Dutch withstood a comeback from No. 17 Transylvania University to win their NCAA Division III Championships regional final in five sets. The win advanced the Flying Dutch to the NCAA Championships in Claremont, California.
