Hope College's competitive excellence in postseason competition fueled a 15th-place finish in the Learfield Cup Directors' Cup Division III standings for the 2025-26 academic year.

Hope totaled 724.25 points during the fall, winter, and spring NCAA Championships, earning the college's second-highest standing ever and the best since a 12th-place finish during the 2005-06 academic year.

Hope also recorded the highest point total among MIAA schools this season.

This year, Hope earned points in men's cross country, women's cross country, football, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving, women's indoor track and field, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, women's tennis, men's outdoor track and field, and women's outdoor track and field.

Overall, up to 18 total sports may count towards the final Directors' Cup standings, four of which must be men's basketball and soccer, and women's basketball and soccer, leaving the next 14 highest points scored to also be counted.

Hope has finished in the top 70 among NCAA Division III programs each year since the program started in Division III.

Last month, Hope also claimed the MIAA Commissioner's Cup all-sports award for the sixth consecutive year and a league-record 42nd time.
